I pulled out my soapbox and Kandisha Press allowed it.
Being offered the opportunity to interview with Kandisha Press—a sick, cool, horror indie press—is really flattering but also, appropriately, slightly sickening, horrifying. I haven’t done anything like this before—something that requires me to talk about myself seriously, like a serious writer with serious thoughts. It took me, like, two weeks to get a thought formulated, and another week after that to figure out if I was right, wrong, or somewhere in the middle, especially recognizing how new I am to the publishing world. But I was honoured to have the chance to participate, so, for those interested, please check out my ramblings on the publishing industry, AI, and my work.
Oh! I also got to debut my headshot. 🙈 Tell me I’m cute.
